MCP

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard developed by Anthropic that enables AI models to securely connect with external data sources and tools. MCP provides a standardized way for LLMs to access databases, APIs, file systems and other services. It works with a client-server architecture where MCP servers expose capabilities that AI applications can discover and use.
